2 months old already!?!?

Yesterday we went to the dr for their shots. I was holding Jax and he cried his first tears. It broke my heart. Caden was the same but Troy held him so I didn't have to think about it. Boy have they grown! Jax is 9lbs 5 onz 21 1/4 inches and Caden is 10lbs 5 onz 22 1/4 inches. They are in perfect heath. Jax is continuing with meds for his reflux but the dr is happy with his weight gain. Caden may have a slight hernia at his belly button but the dr feels it will probably go away on its own.

Another week...

Nothing new or exciting. The boys are really growing. I'm getting excited to being home for Easter and show off my boys. Jax is doing well. We have to prop him up to sleep but the meds are working and he is still spitting up every feeding but not as much. It's nice to have my happy baby back. Caden is growing and growing. He is much more content. He must be accepting he's stuck with Troy and I :) Here are some new pictures:

Trip to the IWK

Well Jax went in for tests yesterday as he is spitting up most of his bottle. We (us & the Dr) think it's just reflux. I'm glad we have a Dr that will check 'just in case' it's something else. He is a little out of sorts but still a happy baby. The nurses at the lab got a kick out of him. When he is mad and has in soother in he will let you have it. We have no idea what he's saying but you can tell he's mad. As soon as it was over he calmed right down. So the only question is..What did Troy and I do to get such good babies???


Oh and Caden is taking silicone soothers as well now...YAY!!!

VICTORY!

Caden is finally eating from a silicone nipple. For those who don't know Caden lost the most weight at birth because he wouldn't eat from a silicone nipple. He would only use rubber nipples. Now with my latex sensitivity Troy has been telling me to stop itching every day. He still has his soother but I don't have to touch the rubber part. This makes me very happy!

Fletcher Family Fun

What a fun filled weekend us Fletchers had! Fri night Jax & Caden met their Auntie Lynn, Uncle Jay (Troy's brother), and cousins Paige & Nick. We had a little birthday party for Paige with the immediate family. Saturday we were an hour late for the Fletcher family photo. But everyone kindly waited. We now think our boys are going to poop everytime we try and get out the door making us late. That is their father's DNA! Sat night was Grandpa Art's 90th birthday celebration. It was held at the Gio restaurant at the Prince George Hotel. The food was fabulous. The boys were is their carriers and slept all night. Sun we celebrated Grandma Jean's birthday at Chinatown. The boys were awake more for this so got to be passed around to family & friends. Cousin Paige even got to help feed Jax & Caden. She was so proud. Updates

Feb 16, 08: So yesterday was a high maintainance day. We switched formula's from good start to the PC brand b/c it was half the price. Well we did a hard switch and not a gradual one. BIG mistake. I had a couple of grumpy little boys yesterday as they kept spitting up their formula and were hungry. We are now doing half good start and half PC and they are doing much better. We will gradually remove the good start all together. Also yesterday I realized they are almost out of newborn diapers. How the heck did that happen??? They grow WAY too fast.
Feb 14, 08: Today we are due! We went to the Dr and Caden is weighing 7 lbs 9 onz and Jax is 7lbs 4 onz. Unbelievable! The Dr is very happy with them and everything looks great. They return in a month for their 1st set of shots.
Feb 12, 08: Jax and Caden were 1 month old yesterday! They are growing. I hope to get more pictures up this week. Caden seems to be happier these days. Except when we are changing his diper :). Our church had a pot luck for us on Sunday. Unfourtunately there was a bad storm but a few (including us) braved the storm. We had a great time.
